Passionate Child Care Experts You Can Trust

Harmony Community School Centre was formed in 1978 as a non-profit community-based childcare centre and licensed to provide care for children between the ages of 2½ to 12 years.

We employ qualified, caring staff and are administered by a volunteer Board of Directors. Staff are Early Childhood Educators and registered with the College of Early Childhood Education (RECEs). We also have childcare assistants that complement and enhance our teaching team.

The daycare works closely with St. Clare School, the Toronto Catholic District School Board, the Ministry of Education, Toronto Public Health and the City of Toronto, Children's Services. Harmony Childcare Centre is licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Education and inspected yearly by an Early Childhood Licensing Specialist. We meet and maintain provincial standards set out in the Day Nurseries Act concerning programming and operations, as well as standards set by the Health and Fire Departments.

The Ontario government is committed to increasing transparency and parent access to information about licensed child care programs.

You can now find licensing inspection findings on the Licensed Child Care website, which is available at www.ontario.ca/ONT/portal61/licensedchildcare.

A Note From Our Director:
Harmony Childcare Centre is a non-profit childcare centre that offers services for Pre-School, JK/SK, and School-Age children. We have 7 rooms with a capacity of 165 children. As of September 2015, we offer subsidized care and are the Before and After care providers for the FDK Program. We are lucky to have an amazing Volunteer Board of Directors and qualified, dedicated and exceptional staff that work hard and are the reason Harmony is such a great centre - it's a fun, caring, and educational place for your child(ren) to spend their day.

Thanks for the support that’s made it all possible!
